Importing one database into another

Typical Fields: Name, address, phone, grade, gender, school, teacher/advisor, project name, category (I'll explain this one when we make this field). Other data: Entry date, fee paid, paper work received, ranking or award. As we work through this database project, I will show you how to make a variety of special fields. Step 2. Create the database. 1. Launch AppleWorks by double clicking on the icon. 2. Go File .. New .. Database. 3. In the Field Name: box enter First Name. 4. The Field Type: is set to Text by default. This is the best setting for this field. You are not entering dates or numbers. Each record will have unique data here. 5. Click the Create button. |
