Birds of Fields, Fencerows and Meadows

Feather Facts Finder

Birds have feathers. The number of feathers a bird has depends in part on its size, as well as, where and how it lives. In most birds, a third of a its feathers are on its head. Feathers perform a number of important functions for a bird.
