Clues left behind
See those small, green blobs on the leaf?
They are caterpillar droppings or poop. Hey, all
that leaf eating has got to go somewhere!
Animal trackers use frass (insect droppings) as a way to detect
an animal has been there. When I see those blobs on the top of
a leaf, I start looking for the caterpillars.
