Milkweed and Monarch Butterfly

Harvestman

This long legged resident is a Daddy-Long-Legs or Harvestman.

It is not a spider or even an insect.

Notice how the bottom half of its body is light in color.

The top is dark with two, pale stripes.

Their legs have many joints.

Web

This spider web is touched with early morning dew.

Look at the concentric circles the spider wove in its web.
You must stand at just the right angle to the plant, to see the web.
A few steps to the left or to the right and the web seems to become invisible.

I did not see the spider weaver.

I did not see any caterpillars on this plant.
